Silver Star recipient and The Pantry's special advisor on military affairs, Sgt. Tommy Rieman, above, presented the store, its customers and employees with a Certificate of Appreciation from the USO of North Carolina for their fundraising efforts, while visitors were able to explore a military vehicle display, below, provided by the North Carolina National Guard and sample campaign-partner products provided by Kronik Energy, Activate and Monster Energy.

Here are some additional photos from the event:

Bob Harris with the Willys Jeep, which he proclaimed was only ten years younger than himself!

John Fisher, vp of marketing for The Pantry, engaged in some conversation with ABC 11 Anchor Larry Stogner.

And Largemouth's own, Brandon Bryce, joined Larry Stogner in commemorating the day with a great photo in front of the "Military Jeep on a Mission."
