Executives from The Pantry, below, headquartered in nearby Cary, N.C., were able to join in on the community celebration, and included Terry Marks, CEO, front right, John Fisher, senior vice president of marketing back right, and Dave Henninger, vice president of marketing services.

Silver Star recipient and The Pantry's special advisor on military affairs, Sgt. Tommy Rieman, above, presented the store, its customers and employees with a Certificate of Appreciation from the USO of North Carolina for their fundraising efforts, while visitors were able to explore a military vehicle display, below, provided by the North Carolina National Guard and sample campaign-partner products provided by Kronik Energy, Activate and Monster Energy.
