Largemouth Communications' President & CEO speaks at NC Project Management Institute Meeting
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – Brandon Bryce, president and CEO of Largemouth Communications, a full-service public relations firm based in Raleigh-Durham, recently provided insight on successful communications strategies to the Project Management Institute's (PMI) North Carolina Chapter.
During his speech, titled "Effective Communications and its Role to Ensure Project Management Success," Bryce shared best practices and tools for communicating the right message to the right audience through the appropriate channels throughout all stages of a project.
"Communications can make or break a project. It is the catalyst for a successful project and it enables rigorous and proactive management," said Bryce. "The right mix of planning, monitoring, communicating and controlling is critical to completing a project on time, on budget and with quality results."
Founded in 1969 to build professionalism in project management, PMI now has more than 225,000 members worldwide, from all occupations. In addition to producing PM standards, seminars, meetings, and training materials, PMI administers the prestigous Project Management Professional (PMP) certification process.
There are four regional PMI chapters in North Carolina (Piedmont Triad, Metrolina, Western Carolina University, and NC). The NC Chapter serves eastern North Carolina and the greater Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill/Research Triangle Park area (The Triangle). NCPMI was chartered in 1985, and is now the 14th-largest PMI chapter, with more than 2,600 members.
