Kangaroo Express Offers Discounted Carolina Hurricanes Weekend Tickets

Ticket vouchers available only at Kangaroo Express ATMs save fans $20 to $30 per seat
Cary, N.C., Oct. 4, 2011 – The Pantry, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTRY), the leading independently operated convenience store chain in the southeastern United States, today announced that vouchers for discounted tickets to Carolina Hurricanes weekend games can be secured at ATMs located in Triangle-area Kangaroo Express convenience stores, saving Canes fans up to 67 percent per seat.
Kangaroo Express will be the exclusive location offering single-game discount tickets for all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday home hockey games throughout the entire 2011-2012 Carolina Hurricanes regular season. Upper level seating will be available for $10, presenting a savings of $20 per ticket. Lower level seating will be available for $60, saving fans $30 per seat.
Customers withdrawing $20 or more will have the option to print a voucher for any weekend game and redeem the voucher for a Carolina Hurricanes ticket at the Time Warner Cable Box Office located inside the RBC Center.
Vouchers are redeemable for up to four games at a time and fans can receive up to eight tickets per voucher. Each voucher must be redeemed seven days prior to the selected game date as the coupon is subject to game week pricing.

Kangaroo Express is also the title sponsor of the 2012 Carolina Hurricanes Military Appreciation Night scheduled for Feb. 25. As part of the sponsorship, Kangaroo Express will provide free tickets for 500 men and women actively serving in the military.
